The Eidetic Imagery Training Center of Texas, located near downtown Houston, has emerged as a major contributor since 1999 in advancing the theory and practice of Ahsen’s Image Psychology.  It has taken a dynamic and expanding role in spreading the work of Dr. Akhter Ahsen into various communities---clinical, medical, business, sports.

The Texas Center aims to present the full creative power of eidetic imagery.  The world lacking in imagination, we can change the world through the eidetic connection with life.  The center’s work is about expanding our engagement with the world, and moving it toward a state of healing, freedom, and consciousness.

The center, in continuing on its trajectory of advancing the understanding of Eidetic Image Psychology, has been training participants from throughout the U. S. and abroad in this innovative and enriching approach to mental imagery through its three-year certification program.  Trainees have been flowing in from a variety of disciplines---doctors, psychologists, social workers, teachers, physical therapists, chiropractors, yoga teachers, business people, ministers, and artists.

The center’s commitment to working closely with Dr. Ahsen has enabled it to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of mental imagery and offers classes on important topics such as EPT analysis, the effects of negative medical hypnosis, study and treatment of allergies, physiology and its relationship with images, sexuality, menstruation and menopause, learning ability and disability, family therapy, and mythology.
